Common questions
What if my mailbox is huge?
No problem. On any paid plan Speudio keeps your entire email history, so the old project you most want to recall is still there years later. On the Free plan we keep a rolling window of your 2,000 most recent emails; older ones stay in your original mailbox.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Online payments are coming soon; until then, email info@speudio.com and we'll set up the plan you want — it activates as soon as we confirm. There's no self-serve switch button yet. Your data is always kept when you move between plans.
How much AI do I get on Free?
Free includes a real monthly AI allowance — enough to ask about your own customers every day and feel the magic before you commit. Solo raises it substantially, and Pro and Business are fair-use: just use the assistant normally. We never bill per question and never send a surprise overage bill.
What's smart (semantic) search and how is it different from keyword?
Keyword search finds emails that contain the exact words you typed. Smart (semantic) search finds emails that match the meaning. Example: you ask 'what's the price for the patio?' — keyword search needs the words 'price' and 'patio' to be in the email. Smart search also finds Anna's email that said 'quote for the back garden tiling' (different words, same meaning). Every AI 'Ask' question on every plan — Free included, within your monthly AI allowance — runs both keyword and smart search and fuses the results, so you find the right conversation even when you can't remember the exact words.
How long until I can search images by content after I import?
Speudio analyzes each image in the background after import (it doesn't slow the import itself down). Typical sizes: a small mailbox with ~150 image attachments is ready in about 5 minutes. An average mailbox (~750 images) takes ~25 minutes. A heavy mailbox (~3,000 images) takes ~1h 40m. Worst case for a very large photo library is a few hours; most mailboxes finish much faster. The Ask drawer shows a live 'still reading your images, 87% done' message while it's working — searches by filename or sender still work normally during this time.
Is my data safe? Does Speudio touch my inbox?
No — Speudio is strictly read-only. Every IMAP connection only reads; we never send, delete, move, or modify a single message in your mailbox. Your data is hosted in the EU and we're GDPR-native by design — not a US product bolting on a compliance checkbox. Everything is encrypted at rest and traffic is HTTPS.
Do you keep my old emails?
On any paid plan, yes — forever. A tool that 'remembers everything' can't quietly delete the project from two years ago you most need to recall. Costs are bounded by an attachment storage cap (text email is tiny), not by deleting history. The Free plan keeps a rolling window of your 2,000 most recent emails.
What about big attachments?
Single files are capped at 25 MB on most plans (Free, Solo, Pro) and 60 MB on Business. Files above the cap — large photo dumps, video attachments — are skipped at import time. The email still comes in; the attachment appears grayed out so you know what was left behind. Speudio is built for the conversations, not as a file host: share big files via WeTransfer, Drive, or Dropbox and the link in your email gets imported normally.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Email info@speudio.com any time and we'll move you down or off — there's no self-serve cancel button yet (online payments are coming soon). Your data stays. On Free, only the rolling window of your 2,000 most recent emails is kept for search and AI.
