Cookie Notice

Version 1.0 Last updated: 12 June 2026

This notice explains which cookies Speudio (speudio.com) places on your device, why we use them, and why you will not see a cookie consent pop-up on our site. Speudio is operated by SK Creations, a sole proprietorship (enskild firma) registered in Sweden.

This notice is provided in English, Swedish, and Greek. The English version is the authoritative version; the Swedish and Greek translations are provided for convenience, and in the event of any discrepancy the English version prevails. This notice is governed by Swedish law, and any disputes relating to it are subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) so it can remember something about you between page loads or visits — for example, that you are signed in, or which language you prefer. Related technologies, such as browser storage, work in a similar way. We use cookies only for the strictly-necessary purposes described below, and we never use cookies or any similar technology to track you, analyse your behaviour, or show you advertising.

2. The cookies we use

Speudio sets only the following first-party cookies. There are no third-party cookies on our site — nothing from analytics, advertising, or social-media providers.

CookiePurposeTypeDuration
authjs.session-token¹Keeps you signed in. Holds your encrypted session so you do not have to enter your password on every page. It is httpOnly, meaning scripts running in the page cannot read it — a protection against session theft.Strictly necessary (authentication)Up to 30 days, or until you sign out
NEXT_LOCALERemembers your language. Stores your interface language choice (English, Swedish, or Greek) so the app loads in your language every time.Strictly necessary (user preference you set)1 year
speudio_ask_dockRemembers your AI-assistant panel layout. Stores whether you chose to keep the AI chat panel open or collapsed, so the page loads with the layout you picked instead of resetting it on every visit. It contains only the word open or collapsed — nothing about you.Strictly necessary (user-interface preference you set)1 year
speudio_gmail_oauth_stateProtects the Gmail connection flow. A short-lived, httpOnly security token set only while you connect a Gmail account, used to verify that the response from Google belongs to the connection you started (CSRF protection). It is deleted automatically.Strictly necessary (security)10 minutes

¹ On secure (HTTPS) connections the browser-enforced name is __Secure-authjs.session-token.

That is the complete list. We do not set any other cookies, and we never sell or share the information in these cookies with anyone.

3. Why there is no consent pop-up

EU and Swedish law require consent for cookies except those that are strictly necessary to provide a service the user has explicitly requested. This exemption comes from Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), implemented in Sweden in Chapter 9, Section 28 of the Electronic Communications Act (lagen [2022:482] om elektronisk kommunikation).

Every cookie we use falls within that exemption: you cannot stay signed in, keep the language and panel-layout preferences you chose, or securely connect a Gmail account without them. Because we use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind, there is nothing for you to consent to — so we do not interrupt you with a consent banner. An informational notice (this page) is all the law requires, and all you should ever need from us.

4. How to control cookies in your browser

You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings — usually under "Privacy", "Cookies", or "Site data" (this includes blocking cookies for speudio.com specifically, or clearing the ones already stored). Consult your browser's help pages for exact steps in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.

Please be aware of the consequences: because all of our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking or deleting them will sign you out of Speudio, and the app will not be able to keep you signed in afterwards. Deleting the preference cookies resets the interface to the default language and the default AI-panel layout, and blocking cookies during a Gmail connection will cause that connection attempt to fail for your own protection.

5. Our promise

If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary — for example an analytics cookie — we will ask for your consent first, before it is set, and we will update this notice with a new version number and date so the change is visible. We will never quietly add tracking.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our use of cookies changes or when the law requires it. The version number and "Last updated" date at the top always reflect the current revision; material changes will be communicated within the app.

If you believe our use of cookies, or our handling of your personal data more generally, does not comply with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se), or with your local EU supervisory authority.

Questions about this notice or about how Speudio handles your data are always welcome:
